Classic Cruise Around Holy Isle
Departing from the Old Pier in Lamlash, this cruise around Holy Isle will take approximately 1.5 hours. The boat will circumnavigate the island at a leisurely pace, giving an ideal opportunity to view the east side of the island from the water. A brilliant opportunity to spot seals and seabirds including the incredible diving Gannets whilst learning a little about the history and heritage of Holy Isle.
We aim to be as inclusive as possible and wish to support everyone from all backgrounds and abilities to enjoy our cruises and crossings. We will provide active assistance to all passengers boarding our boats. However, please be aware that the boats are always accessed from the pier steps so, regrettably, direct wheelchair accessibility is not possible.
Please note there is no need to pay for children under 5 years old but let us know you are bringing them by adding a note in the ‘Additional Information’ section in the online booking.

We went on the cruise around Holy Isle. My adult autistic son was very nervous about being aboard a boat but Grant, Tim and David could not have done enough to help him enjoy the experience and feel safe. The whole trip was lovely with lots of useful local knowledge, wildlife spotting and a wee snack. All the staff were very knowledgeable about wildlife and local history anecdotes which made for an interesting experience also. Would highly recommend this trip. Taking two ladies in their late 80’s with mobility issues did not perturb Grant and his crew, who took great care to ensure the safety and wellbeing of both ladies at all times, whilst ensuring they felt comfortable and relaxed.
We cannot thank everyone, from our initial queries, to booking and to sailing, enough for their help and support and we will definitely be using Lamlash Cruises next time we are on Arran.
